Actress, singer, and dancer Ariana Valentine is best known for portraying the character Zoe in Logan Goldman's The Theory of Never.

Born in 1994 in Boca Raton, Florida, Ariana sang and acted from a young age in a number of theatre groups. She made her Broadway debut at age 13 in the role of Charlotte in the musical 13. She then appeared as the female lead in Grayson Chance's music video for Unfriend Me.

From 2011-2013 she portrayed a role in her high school, Altamont Academy, versions of Spring Awakening as Wendla and played Hippolyta in A Midsummers Night Dream. She participated in EDRA's special showing of Phantom of the Opera as Posigney and Desbienne sharing the role with Destiny Blake.

She went on to play Evelyn and McKenzie in Orlandos company showing of A Party to Murder while simultaneously playing an extra role in Hindsight by Logan Goldman and portraying Zoe in Goldman's The Theory of Never.

She made her vocal debut by playing a number of festivals around Orlando, including the International Festival and her high school talent shows. In early 2014, she was signed to JMAC records along with her vocalist Isaac and her songwriter Tori Franklin.

If you missed this girls second high profile gig last night then you missed a rising star. Mr. Richard M. Devos, owner of Orlando Magic, welcomed on to their court one of the newest artist signed to JMAC records out of Orlando, Ariana Valentine. She performed the national anthem on Friday, January 16 before the Orlando game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies.
She hit the court wearing her new enviable ponytail, a bedazzled Magic jersey and jeans. The laid back look perfectly complemented her rendition of the Star Spangled banner. Even when she's hitting the most difficult high notes this newcomer makes it seem simple.
Ariana Valentine is someone to watch for. Keep your ears open!

Ariana opened up this summer on tour for Fifth Harmony.

She preps her debut album with the release of her second single, Problem. Ariana Valentine has fans from all over Orlando where she has resided the last few years. She recently recorded a duet with superstar Iggy Azalea, which was released today and put her in front of a very high fan base. Slightly older fans may know her through her role in 13 on Broadway almost ten years back or via her appearances in films by Logan Goldman.

Now she is planning the launch of her music career, which she expects to exist alongside her acting career. Our first glimpse into her debut album was The Way out earlier this year. We spoke to her about the song, the progress of the full-length, and about her collaborations with Azalea, and her previous roles.

The Way was your introduction as a solo singer to the world; talk about choosing that song and Problem as the one to introduce yourself as a singer.

The Way was written by fellow JMAC rising star Victoria Franklin, and she is one of my favorite writers, and also one of my new favorite people that I have had the pleasure of working with on the whole album. There was no question, to me, that that should be the first single. There was something so powerful about the lyrics and the idea of putting something so powerful and empowering into the world meant a lot to me.

It has been really amazing to see. When we released the title of the song, it was amazing to see what people were saying under the hashtag #theway. So much positivity was being spread. And then after the song came out, it has been so amazing to see how it has affected people and how it has helped people, it feels really special.

Obviously committing yourself to music means a lot of time in the studio, on the road and promoting, and at some point you will probably have to choose between doing a film or spending more time on music.

I guess that is true, but I am not leaving one behind for the other. I do commit myself 110% to whatever it is I am doing at the moment. But I love them both so much that I know I couldn not do just one, and not the other. It'll be interesting to see how eventually how these two worlds will collide. I am blessed to be able to do what I love and I am going to take advantage of any opportunity I can to do it.

You looked like you had a great time shooting the Problem video.

I shot it locally in Orlando. After a lot of back and forth what to wear and who to have in it, it came down to me really wanting to have fun and have a good time with it. It makes me feel good when I sing it, and I wanted the video to represent the idea of fun and dancing and love. And you can listen to your favorite song and dance as if no one is watching.

So, do you have solo tour plans yet?

Other than just finding out I will be in the lineup for Jingle Ball next month, no. I am finishing the video for the next single.

When will it be out?

I want to say early next year. I am aiming for early next year.

Since opening for The Saturdays and then Demi Cruz and Nick Jonas last Spring of 2016, Ariana Valentine has been making headlines all across the country. The rising pop star has since done her second Jingle Ball tour. She had three more singles come out off of her debut album, one of which, Almost is Never Enough, included her fellow JMAC star Justin Bishop. The other two being Right There and Baby I. She has a Christmas EP out! She's shared the stage at her second Wango Tango with another JMAC Star, Destiny Blake, on a cover song together. This girl is definitely going places. I'm sure you might even recognize her from the latest Final Fantasy game installment, with her latest growing trend of her cat ears.

I'm sure you all miss seeing this girl live, but she's all over the radio and she's currently hard at work in the studios on songs for her second album! She will be performing live for you all again soon, but you will have to wait a little longer still for that day! In the meantime she has some amazing collaborators with her on this upcoming album! You will also have to wait a little longer to find out who, but I can promise you that you will not be disappointed when you finally hear what she has in store for you all on this next album!
