Vanessa is very ambitious and determined in everything she does. She works her hardest to get what she wants out of life. Vanessa is a hardworking, creative soul. She is a reliable, patient and kind person, wanting everyone around her to be content. She can also be very critical if things do not go her way. She is stubborn and a little uptight when things go awry. She is afraid that she will not be able to live up to her own high expectations. She likes baking, eating, the ocean, small groups. She does not like large crowds, nor does she like being the center of attention. Vanessa bakes and that is her biggest hobby, as well as it being her main career, too. But she also likes to sew and knit.

She would like to run a successful business while making people see that the Peralta family has goals, but more importantly that Vanessa herself has goals. Also, she would like to fall in love, get married, have a family, a home of her own.

Vanessa was born in Solaris, as the middle of the Peralta children. She has two older brothers and then born after her were Jenna and her twin brother.

Vanessa has never been to Italy because her family was already in America by the time she was conceived. She has always been the kind of girl to go for what she wants in life. She went to culinary school straight from business school and opened her own bakery before she even hit 25 years old.
